“There is joy in Christ always” | Work in Progress

Here is a sneak peek (one of many! 😅 Get ready for at least two sneak peaks a week for a few months, as I have many wips I am trying to finish) of a piece the Lord laid on my heart a few weeks ago.

All scripture is God-breathed. Those who wrote the scriptures were guided by the Holy Spirit. This is somewhat of what I envision when I think of the Lord writing His word for us. Specifically in this piece I thought of Paul being enprisioned, and yet rejoicing in the Lord every second, being guided to write to the fellow churches.

It's so easy in the flesh to think of worldly things, and to complain, but God tells us to walk in the Holy Spirit, and we will have joy. for we will be able to rejoice no matter what situation we are in and the salvation that Christ has given us by His grace alone on that cross, and His resurrection. We are His forever. The moment we accept Christ into our heart and except Him as our Lord and Savior, He has said that He will be with us. We need to only abide in Him always. No matter what situation we're in no matter what persecution we are facing. he is our strength. He is our fortress. Our life is in His hands. When we die, let us rejoice for we will be with our Savior.
