A little about myself...

My name is Sealea Marie, and I’m a digital artist! I attended Columbia College University of Chicago, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation. However, I’ve focused most of my skills on painting digital illustrations instead. Growing up, I would draw cats on everything. I love all animals, but I’ve always particularly loved the tiny, box-loving furballs. I’ve had seasons in my life that I thought about keeping art as just a hobby, but made the decision to pursue my art as a career about 5 years ago after a very dear friend inspired me to do what I really love for a job. I’ve been painting digitally since!

What inspires my art? I’m heavily inspired by God’s handiwork in His creation. Plants, all types of animals, and all kinds of landscapes. From the smallest flower in the forest to the tiniest jellyfish in the depths of the ocean…God’s intricate design in all His creation is just so beautiful and simply mind-blowing. I do also love different architectures from around the world, especially small towns, or older towns where the place hasn’t been incredibly modernized. Photos of towns and landscapes in Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Vietnam, and Argentina are just a few of my favorites! It’s crazy to me how in love I am with God’s creation, and I’ve really only seen a very VERY small percent of it in person! Not to mention the entire ocean……..!! It’s truly incredible.

As you see on my site, I have plenty of scripture-based art. My scripture-based art is for everyone that will see it. Everyone. God has given me this gift in art. I want to use it to glorify Him completely while also planting seeds for the Kingdom of God. No amount of fame, money, earthly success, or anything else could compare to a possible seed planted in at least one person from my art. I pray my art may lead anyone to seek the Word of God, and find life everlasting in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!
